Patsy DePiero, long time resident of Pleasanton, CA passed away March 29, 2025 at the age of 97. Patsy was born September 1927 in Bakersfield, CA to Hugh and Gussie Spears. Her early years were spent living on the California Grapevine helping to run the Grapevine hotel, store and gas station. After graduation from Bakersfield Union High School Patsy married Lyle Kerr, they had two children. She later married Frank DePiero, they were married 66 years and had three daughters. Patsy enjoyed sewing, reading, needlepoint and See's candy. She made the best spaghetti sauce!

Preceding her in death; her husband Frank DePiero, parents Hugh and Gussie Spears, Grandson Aaron Guilbert, Granddaughter Jennifer Dreyer, Great Grandson Quinton Guilbert.

Patsy is survived by her brother George Spears (Pat) of Santa Rosa Valley, CA. Son Steve Kerr (Paula) of Riverbank, CA. Daughters Denyse Lizer (Chuck) of Philipsburg, MT. Sandie Dreyer (Mark) of Rainier, OR. Nancy Duty (Russ) of San Diego, CA. Karen DePiero-King (Steve) of Livermore, CA. Numerous Grand children and Great Grand children.

Patsy's children, Denyse, Steve, Sandie and Nancy give our deepest and sincere thanks to our youngest sister Karen and her husband for their care of our Mother in her final days.

A private burial will be at Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery.
