Jon Maurice Moore, born John M. Moore on 3/3/1962, to mother, Sandra Lee Moore & father, Gary Lee Moore, in Oakland, CA, passed away September 1, 2026 at UCSF in San Francisco, after a 5 months stay, awaiting a heart transplant.

Jon lived most of his life in the Livermore & Pleasanton valley, never leaving for more than a couple years, always returning to his roots! He attended Amador High School & graduated Class of 1980! He is survived by his best friend of 52 years, Jilleen Leal, who was by his bedside constantly, until the end. Also his dearest friends, Amanda, Brenda, Robbie & Brian, who stood by his side through it all, a sister, 1 nephew, 2 nieces & 1 grand nephew. He was loved by friends, peers & especially his Lil’ Dog, that was always with him & they would often be seen walking around town, rarely separated! Jon’s friends were his family! He will be missed by so many! Jon always let you know how much he loved & appreciated everyone in his life. Jonny on the spot will never be forgotten!
