Teresa Ann Morrison
June 29, 1964-Aug. 15, 2026
Dublin, California

It is with deep grief and sorrow that we announce the passing of Teresa Ann Morrison (Teri), a wonderful wife and mother. Born at St. Mary’s Long Beach Hospital in Long Beach, CA, she went to Heaven in Walnut Creek, CA on August 15th, 2026, aged 62, after a hard fought, two year battle with cancer.

Born to William and Lita Morrow, Teri grew up with her younger sister Tami in Huntington Beach, CA. A big change occurred in her life when her family had to move to Pleasanton, CA after her junior year of high school as a result of William’s job being transferred. Having to spend your senior year of high school in a sleepy East Bay town after growing up in a Southern California beach community was definitely a disappointment for Teri but destiny awaited. In 1986 she decided to go to a local Oktoberfest with her parents. It was there that she met a smitten Midshipman from the California Maritime Academy who asked her out on a date.

After attending Cal State Hayward and Chabot Junior College, Teri became a Dental Assistant at a practice in Danville, CA. She loved the work so much that she returned to Chabot College in Hayward, CA and studied to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. A 33 year career as an RDH followed where she was beloved by both her patients and coworkers.

Teri may have had to leave the beach but the beach never left her. Her favorite vacations were always the ones with crashing waves and sand between her toes, whether it was the Hawaiian islands, the many lover’s trips to Mendocino, the family trips to Capitola, or the countless day trips to the California Coast.

Daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, and professional; Teri was sweet, funny, and kind. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Dan (that Midshipman), along with their son Kyle Morrison, their daughter Sara Morrison, and her sister Tami Slattery. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Lita.

A Celebration of life for Teri is planned but a time and date has yet to be determined. Notification will go out to family and friends once memorial arrangements have been made.
