Priscilla Edna Snyder
Aug. 29, 1938-Feb. 11, 2025
Dublin, California

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Priscilla Edna Rich Snyder, on February 11, 2025, at the age of 86. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate her wonderful life on April 12, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Old St. Raymond Church, Dublin Pioneer Cemetery, Dublin, CA, followed by interment at the cemetery.

Priscilla lived a rich and meaningful life, touching the hearts of many. She was born on August 29, 1938, in Springfield, MA, the middle daughter of Edwin S. Rich and Dorothy O. Tillson Rich. She grew up alongside her two loving sisters, Carolyn and Dorothy. During her childhood, her family moved to the West Coast, eventually settling in Oakland, CA.

On September 8, 1956, Priscilla married her devoted life partner, Peter Wesley Snyder, and together they built a beautiful family, raising five children: Gary, Sheri, David, Jon, and Brian. As the years went on, their family grew to include 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Our mom had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for travel. There wasn’t a dream trip she envisioned that our dad didn’t make a reality. Their travels took them to the far corners of the world, but her heart was always drawn to Nerja, Spain, where she and our dad lived for nearly 15 years. No matter where she was, family and friends were always at the center of her heart. She welcomed visitors with open arms, whether in Spain or back home in California, always making everyone feel special. She had a gift for hospitality, treating her guests like royalty—something we will all dearly miss.

Priscilla’s love, warmth, and adventurous spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
